Bienassis Castle in Brittany by EuroTourData

Bienassis Castle is the restored moated castle, built around 1434 as the fortified residence for the Lords of Goublaye. The castle was occupied during the French Wars of Religion at the end of the 16th century, partly destroyed and rebuilt in 1620. The castle got its modern form after the reconstruction in the 17th century.
