Frauenberg Castle is the restored ruins of the spur castle, built around 1320 as the fortified residence of counts of Sponheim.

Description of Frauenberg Castle
Frauenberg castle has a rectangular plan with an area of about 250 sq.m. The castle was surrounded by a ring defensive walls, which is partially preserved. On the northeast side there are two fully restored round towers between which there is the shield wall.
