Kriebstein Castle in Saxony

Kriebstein Castle is the restored spur castle, built around 1398 as the fortified residence for the Lords Berwalde. In the last third of the 17th century the castle was enlarged and got its modern look. Since January 1, 1993 and is under the jurisdiction of the state enterprise State Palaces, Castles and Gardens of Saxony.
