Prunn Castle history
In December 1491, Albert IV, Duke of Bavaria attempted to storm Prunn Castle to no avail. The castle was not damaged. In 1631 the castle was rebuilt and received its modern form. In 1946, the castle passed into the possession of the Bavarian Administration of State-Owned Palaces, Gardens and Lakes.
