Tittmoning Castle history

In 1338 the fortifications of the castle were reinforced. After 1816 the castle belonged to the Kingdom of Bavaria. The town of Titmoning bought the castle in 1852 due to the beginning of disrepair. In 1911, the Museum of the Historical Society was moved to the castle. In 1953, renovation work began on the castle.
