Voigtsberg Castle history
After 1300 several fortified towers were built in the castle. In the second half of the 13th century, the castle was expanded with five bastions and a zwinger. During the Thirty Years' War, in 1632 the castle was captured by imperial troops and burned down in 1633. During the restoration of the castle, it was partially rebuilt as an amusement castle.
