Erft Watergate of Bad Münstereifel by EuroTourData
Erft Watergate, intended to protect the waterway of the River Erft, is located in the northern part of the southwestern defensive wall of Bad Münstereifel Fortifications. The watergate was built in the 14th century (around 1340 but not confirmed) as the fortified bridge with two semicircular arches for the river channel.
