Big Tower of Büdingen by EuroTourData

Big Tower was built in the second half of the 15th century (around 1495 but not confirmed) as the powerful northwestern corner tower and battery tower of Büdingen Fortifications. The tower has a diameter of 17 meters, a wall thickness of 4 meters, and had casemates with loopholes on three levels. The tower is located on the inner defensive wall of Am Gebuck Zwinger.
