Forchheim Fortress by EuroTourData

Forchheim Fortress was start built after the capture of Forchheim in 1552 during the Second Margrave War, and finished around 1675. The fortress was considered heavily fortified, therefore during the Thirty Years' War, it did not have a major siege, although it had a strategic location.
