Hepp Cavalier of Ingolstadt Fortress by EuroTourData

Hepp Cavalier was built in 1843 as the cavalier of the Front Pappenheim, located on the northwestern side of Ingolstadt Fortress. The cavalier is a two-story brick building with a flat roof, acute-angled side wings, round stair towers, artillery elevator towers, and internal in-line artillery casemates. Hepp Cavalier strengthened the defense of New Cross Gate. The cavalier houses the city museum and the city archive.
