Prince Karl Fort of Ingolstadt Fortress by EuroTourData

Prince Karl Fort was built in 1882 as the polygonal fort of the Outer Forts Line of Ingolstadt Fortress. The fort is about 300 meters wide and about 180 meters long. The fort was originally conceived as a pure artillery fort, in which the infantry played only a minor role. In case of war, it was designed for a crew of about 600 people.
