Bavarian Gate of Landsberg am Lech by EuroTourData
Bavarian Gate was built around 1425 as the fortified gateway and eastern city gate of Landsberg am Lech Medieval Fortifications. The gate consists of the square gate tower and the double rectangular barbican, which in turn consists of the wide part with two square towers with battlements along the edges and the narrower part with round towers with conical roofs also located at the edges. The gate tower has an observation deck, which is available from May to October. Info based on articles Liste der Baudenkmäler in Landsberg am Lech and Bayertor of German Wikipedia.
