Baldingen Gate of Nördlingen by EuroTourData

Baldingen Gate was built around 1376 as the western fortified gateway of Nördlingen Medieval Fortifications for protected the road to Würzburg and Frankfurt am Main. After being damaged during the Thirty Years War, in 1703 the gate tower collapsed. In 1705 the gate was renovated and took on the modern form.
